Coalface Consulting was established in 1997, initially focused on the petrol and convenience channel where we developed the industry standard benchmark measures for both suppliers and retailers.

 

Since that time Coalface has become the "Standard" in supplier/retailer relationship benchmarking within Grocery, Liquor, Pharmacy and Appliance as well as continuing with the Route & Convenience sector.

Our clients trust the results of our annual research projects in each channel to such a level, that our measures are widely used as internal individual and organisational KPI's by suppliers and retailers.

Our success has been built by developing strong relationships within the supplier community and the retailers, which ensures we  constantly evolve our key measures to maintain relevance in these fast paced industries and achieve best practice  levels of response rates and sample sizes for each survey we complete.
